EXPERT, PROCUREMENT PACKAGING

Experience
• Years of Experience: 7 years in procurement packaging materials such as corrugated boxes, flexible packaging, rigid plastics, labels, or paper-based products.• Prior experience working in FMCG, manufacturing, or packaging industries is highly preferred.• Proven track record in strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.• Familiarity with import/export regulations, particularly for packaging materials, if global sourcing is involved.
Technical Skills
• Strong understanding of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainability trends.
• Experience with supplier relationship management, including performance metrics and audits.
• Knowledge of digital procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa) and industry classification systems like UNSPSC.
• Ability to perform cost breakdown analysis and monitor price trends in raw materials (e.g., paper, resin, etc.).
Soft Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
• Adaptability and a collaborative approach to work in cross-functional teams.
Educational Background
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• A professional certification like CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) is advantageous.
