Job Description
- Perform routine inspection, calibration, and maintenance of plant instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, level sensors, transmitters, analyzers).
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty instruments to ensure reliable plant operation.
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new instrumentation systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, calibration certificates, and spare parts usage.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, plant procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to resolve instrumentation issues.
- Participate in shutdowns, overhauls, and emergency maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in instrumentation maintenance, preferably in power plants or heavy industry.
- Strong knowledge of process control systems, PLC/DCS, and field instrumentation.
- Skilled in calibration techniques and use of testing equipment (multimeter, calibrator, HART communicator).
- Ability to read and interpret P&ID, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with safety standards (LOTO, confined space, hazardous area classification).
