(TK) Technician, Instrument Maintenance (27899)

Job Description

• Perform routine inspection, calibration, and maintenance of plant instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, level sensors, transmitters, analyzers).
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty instruments to ensure reliable plant operation.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new instrumentation systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, calibration certificates, and spare parts usage.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, plant procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to resolve instrumentation issues.
• Participate in shutdowns, overhauls, and emergency maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in instrumentation maintenance, preferably in power plants or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of process control systems, PLC/DCS, and field instrumentation.
• Skilled in calibration techniques and use of testing equipment (multimeter, calibrator, HART communicator).
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with safety standards (LOTO, confined space, hazardous area classification).
