(TK) Officer, Exim Clearance (29473)

Job Description

·         Customs clearance handling: Manage import and export clearance processes with customs authorities.

·         Documentation preparation: Prepare and verify shipping documents (invoice, packing list, bill of lading, COO, etc.).

·         Regulatory compliance: Ensure adherence to government regulations, trade laws, and company policies.

·         Coordination with stakeholders: Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal departments.

·         Problem resolution: Address clearance delays, discrepancies, or regulatory issues.

·         Reporting: Maintain records and provide regular updates on clearance status.

Requirements

·         Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in import/export clearance or logistics.

·         Knowledge of regulations: Familiarity with customs procedures, HS codes, and trade compliance.

·         Technical skills: Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems; knowledge of e‑customs platforms.

·         Communication skills: Strong English proficiency (written and spoken).

·         Attention to detail: Accuracy in documentation and compliance checks.

·         Problem-solving ability: Capable of handling clearance issues under time pressure.
