Key Responsibilities

• Machine Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on paper mill machinery (rollers, pumps, conveyors, dryers, etc.).

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to restore equipment functionality.

• Installation & Commissioning: Assist in installing new machinery, calibrating equipment, and ensuring proper alignment and operation.

• Safety Compliance: Follow industry safety standards and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and equipment performance.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.

• Experience: 2–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in the paper or pulp industry.

• Technical Skills: Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, lubrication systems, and mechanical alignment.

• Soft Skills: Problem-solving ability, teamwork, attention to detail, and adaptability in fast-paced environments.

• Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, electrical technicians, and engineers to ensure seamless operations.

• Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to enhance machine reliability and production efficiency.
