Job Summary

Lead and manage all quality control activities to ensure food-grade packaging products meet customer specifications, food safety requirements, regulatory standards, and company quality objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

* Manage incoming, in-process, and finished goods quality control.
* Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, BRCGS Packaging, and food-contact regulations.
* Lead laboratory testing, quality inspections, and product release activities.
* Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
* Conduct root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Support internal, customer, and certification audits.
* Develop and lead QC teams through coaching, training, and performance management.
* Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve product quality and process performance.

 

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Packaging Engineering, or related field.
* Minimum 8 years of QC/QA experience in packaging, paper, or food-contact manufacturing.
* Minimum 3 years in a managerial role.
* Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, SPC, RCA, and CAPA.
* Good leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
* Fluent in English is preferred.
