Fire Fighting Expert (Project)

Job Purpose

Implementing the regulation and supervision of operational activities for fire prevention and control in projects

Job Description:

• Zero Fatal Incident
• Engineering coordination, review  and procurement of all fire protection system engineering on time
• Technical discussions with installation contractors for joining tender in the project as per consultant BOQ  
• Installation of fire protection & Hydrant systems at various sections of IKK project as per engineering
• Testing ,Commissioning  & Handing over the fire protection systems to user sections as per drawings                                                             
• Discussions with main equipment vendors , consultants, users  for selection of suitable  fireprotection system  in IKK project as per  Indonesia standards
• Plan & schedule for procurement of all fire protection system materials as per standards
• complete  the each project area fire systems as per control systems
• Improved skill and competency  based on Health and safety regulations in the project site

Job Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Min. 12 to 15 years experienace in fire system engineering standards and installations big size projects  
• Hands-on experience with large-scale fire fighting systems in complex industrial facilities.
• Certifications (Highly Preferred)
      •    Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) or equivalent
      •    NFPA certification / Fire Protection Engineer certification
      •    Indonesian Fire Safety Certification (Ahli K3 Kebakaran / Fire Safety Expert)
   
• Experience working with insurers, authorities, and fire departments on compliance and approval processes
• Contract Based - Placement in Karawang project site
