Job Purpose
Responsible for providing technical expertise and project support for Hydrogen Peroxide (H₂O₂) chemical projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable project execution from engineering and installation through commissioning and operation.

 

Key Responsibilities

* Provide technical expertise for H₂O₂ plant/system design, installation, commissioning, and optimization.
* Review process design, equipment specifications, PFD/P&ID, chemical storage, handling, and dosing systems.
* Coordinate with engineering, production, maintenance, EHS, vendors, and contractors throughout project execution.
* Monitor project progress, technical quality, schedule, and compliance with project specifications.
* Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for process, equipment, and chemical-handling issues.
* Ensure H₂O₂ storage, transfer, handling, and process systems comply with applicable safety and environmental standards.
* Participate in HAZOP, risk assessments, commissioning, start-up, and performance testing.
* Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, chemical consumption, reliability, and operating costs.
* Prepare technical reports, operating procedures, commissioning documentation, and recommendations.
* Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to operations and maintenance teams.

 

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
* Strong experience in chemical/process projects, preferably involving Hydrogen Peroxide (H₂O₂) or similar industrial chemicals.
* Experience in chemical plant engineering, commissioning, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
* Good understanding of PFD/P&ID, process safety, HAZOP, chemical handling, storage systems, and EHS requirements.
* Experience working with EPC contractors, equipment suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
* Experience in the pulp & paper, chemical, or process manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
