Job Overview

Expert Electrical Maintenance will lead and support all electrical commissioning activities during the startup phase of the Karawang project. The role ensures that electrical systems, power distribution networks, and critical equipment are installed, tested, and commissioned according to engineering standards, project specifications, and operational reliability requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities
    1.    Lead electrical commissioning activities for power distribution systems, MCCs, transformers, switchgear, motors, and control panels.
    2.    Coordinate with engineering, construction, and automation teams to ensure smooth system integration during commissioning.
    3.    Develop and execute commissioning procedures, inspection checklists, and electrical testing protocols.
    4.    Supervise electrical troubleshooting and corrective actions during equipment startup and performance testing.
    5.    Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical regulations, and company operational procedures.
    6.    Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and equipment specifications to verify installation accuracy.
    7.    Support reliability assessment and system optimization during early plant operation.
    8.    Provide technical guidance to electrical maintenance teams and contractors during the commissioning phase.

 

Qualifications
    •    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
    •    Minimum 10–15 years of experience in electrical maintenance or commissioning within large industrial plants (pulp & paper, power plant, petrochemical, or heavy manufacturing).
    •    Strong experience in power distribution systems, switchgear, transformers, motors, and industrial electrical control systems.
    •    Experience in plant startup or commissioning projects is highly preferred.
    •    Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in industrial electrical systems.
    •    Familiarity with international electrical standards and industrial safety practices.
