Senior Expert Engineering

Position Summary

The Senior Expert Engineering is responsible for leading the mill’s engineering function to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of production and utility assets. This role provides technical leadership for reliability improvement, maintenance excellence, capital projects, asset optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives across the mill.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead engineering, reliability, and asset performance improvement initiatives.
* Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with operational and business objectives.
* Drive equipment reliability through preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
* Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for critical equipment failures.
* Manage engineering studies, plant modifications, and capital projects from planning through execution.
* Support production teams in improving process efficiency, equipment performance, and operational productivity.
* Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and engineering standards.
* Manage engineering budgets, project expenditures, and resource allocation.
* Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineering and maintenance teams.
* Monitor engineering KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
* Minimum 12 years of experience in engineering, maintenance, reliability, or project management within manufacturing industries.
* Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership or department head role.
* Experience in pulp & paper, chemical, petrochemical, power generation, or heavy manufacturing industries is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of asset reliability, maintenance management, capital projects, and operational excellence.
* Proven leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
