Senior Expert, Paper Production

Job Summary
The Senior Expert – Paper Production is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operation of 7 paper production lines, including CaCO₃ preparation systems, Fiber Recovery systems, and associated engineering and supporting utilities. This role provides technical leadership to ensure stable production, high product quality, process efficiency, and operational reliability across the entire paper production process.

Key Responsibilities
    1.    Provide technical leadership and operational oversight for seven paper machine production lines to ensure stable, efficient, and safe production.
    2.    Optimize paper manufacturing processes, including stock preparation, wet end, press, drying, and finishing operations.
    3.    Supervise and improve CaCO₃ preparation and dosing systems to maintain optimal filler quality and paper properties.
    4.    Ensure effective operation of Fiber Recovery systems to maximize fiber reuse and reduce material losses.
    5.    Collaborate with engineering teams to improve machine reliability, troubleshoot technical issues, and support equipment upgrades or modifications.
    6.    Lead process optimization initiatives to improve production efficiency, product quality, and cost performance.
    7.    Provide technical guidance and mentoring to production teams, engineers, and supervisors.
    8.    Monitor key production indicators such as machine efficiency, yield, downtime, and quality performance.
    9.    Support continuous improvement programs, including process innovation, operational excellence, and sustainability initiatives.
    10.    Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company operational procedures.

Qualifications
    •    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pulp & Paper Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
    •    Minimum 10–15 years of experience in paper manufacturing, preferably in large-scale integrated mills
    •    Proven experience managing multiple paper production lines simultaneously.
    •    Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills.
    •    Experience supporting commissioning, optimization, or major process upgrades is highly preferred.
