Operator, Field Chemical PAC

Qualifications
- Minimum education equivalent to a Diploma (D3) in an engineering field, such as Chemical Engineering.
- Understanding and being able to operate a DCS system is a core skill. Operators must be able to monitor plant operations, manage alarms, and respond to process changes.
- Knowledge of specific oxygen plant process operations, including supporting systems such as steam, cooling water, or compressors, is highly beneficial.
- Minimum age 18 years

Job Description
- Process Monitoring and Control: Operate and monitor the plant's processes through the DCS, adjusting parameters to maintain optimal production and efficiency.
- Operational Procedures: Execute routine and emergency procedures for plant start-up, shutdown, and process upsets.
- Troubleshooting: Support troubleshooting activities, identify and report operational anomalies, and contribute to root cause analysis.
- Coordination: Collaborate with shift team members, field operators, and maintenance personnel to address issues and support both routine and emergency operations.
