Expert, Multifuel Boiler

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement maintenance strategies for multifuel boiler systems and supporting equipment.
* Monitor equipment performance and analyze operational data to improve reliability and efficiency.
* Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for boiler-related failures and recurring issues.
* Plan and optimize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
* Evaluate equipment conditions and recommend repair, modification, or replacement programs.
* Support plant optimization initiatives to improve boiler performance, energy efficiency, and equipment availability.
* Review maintenance procedures, technical standards, and work instructions to ensure best practices are consistently applied.
* Coordinate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure effective execution of maintenance activities.
* Provide technical guidance, coaching, and knowledge sharing to maintenance personnel.
* Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and company regulations.
* Participate in shutdown planning, commissioning, and continuous improvement projects related to boiler systems.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in boiler maintenance within the pulp and paper, power generation, or process manufacturing industry.
* Strong knowledge of multifuel boiler systems, steam generation processes, and auxiliary equipment.
* Experience in preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance.
* Good understanding of maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis methodologies.
* Familiarity with industrial safety standards and maintenance management systems.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
