Expert, Mechanical Project

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Expert Mechanical Project professional to support the Fiberline Division in executing the current Dissolving Pulp Project. Responsible for managing mechanical works, ensuring safe installation, smooth commissioning, and reliable project delivery on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead mechanical project execution for the Dissolving Pulp Project.
* Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and startup of equipment.
* Coordinate with engineering, operations, maintenance, procurement, and contractors.
* Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and vendor documents.
* Troubleshoot site issues and ensure project schedule achievement.
* Ensure HSE compliance and quality standards.
* Support maintenance readiness and handover of new equipment.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Minimum 10 years experience in mechanical/project roles in pulp & paper, chemical, or heavy industry.
* Experience in Fiberline / Dissolving Pulp projects preferred.
* Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, piping, shutdowns, and commissioning.
* Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
