Expert, Mechanical Maintenance (Pulp Maintenance)

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
* Analyze and resolve complex mechanical equipment issues.
* Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
* Support equipment reliability and maintenance optimization initiatives.
* Coordinate maintenance activities, shutdowns, and major overhauls.
* Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to minimize downtime.
* Evaluate equipment performance and recommend technical improvements.
* Provide technical guidance to maintenance personnel.
* Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the pulp and paper, chemical processing, or other continuous-process industries.
* Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical equipment, including rotating equipment, pumps, piping systems, valves, and process equipment.
* Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability improvement.
* Familiarity with root cause analysis and maintenance management systems.
* Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Willing to be based at Indah Kiat Perawang, Riau.
