Expert, Instrumentation Maintenance ( DCS & Analyzer Fibreline )

Role Summary

Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving all DCS systems, analyzers, and field instrumentation across the Fiberline to ensure stable, safe, and efficient pulp production.

 

Key Responsibilities
    •    Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for Fiberline instruments and analyzers (consistency, Kappa, pH, flow, pressure, conductivity, etc.).
    •    Troubleshoot DCS logic, control loops, and interlocks; support loop tuning and configuration updates.
    •    Ensure calibration accuracy and instrument reliability across digester, washing, O2 delignification, and bleaching areas.
    •    Provide technical support during process upsets and shutdown activities.
    •    Maintain documentation, calibration records, and ensure compliance with mill safety and ISO/EMS standards.
    •    Lead improvement initiatives and guide technicians in troubleshooting and best practices.

 

Qualifications
    •    Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or related field.
    •    Minimum 10–15 years experience in instrumentation & automation, preferably in pulp & paper or chemical process industries.
    •    Strong expertise in DCS (Yokogawa/ABB/Emerson/DeltaV) and Fiberline analyzers.
    •    Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skills.
