(TK) Operator, Offset (22235)

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate offset printing presses for single or multicolor jobs.
• Read and interpret job orders, blueprints, and specifications.
• Adjust ink, water, and pressure levels to achieve desired results.
• Monitor print quality throughout production and make necessary adjustments.
• Inspect printed materials for color accuracy, registration, and consistency.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and printing issues.
• Load paper and ink into the press and manage feeder/delivery systems.
• Maintain accurate production records and logs.

Requirements:

• Have an experience operating offset printing presses.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of printing processes, inks, and paper types.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
