(TK) Operator, Chemical Preparation (24745)

Job Responsibilities:

• Retrieve, weigh, and mix raw chemical materials as per batch instructions.
• Operate chemical processing equipment (reactors, mixers, pumps, valves).
• Monitor and adjust process parameters (temperature, pressure, flow rates).
• Conduct in-process sampling and quality checks.
• Follow all safety protocols for handling hazardous materials.
• Use appropriate PPE and ensure proper chemical storage.
• Maintain accurate records of batch details, operational data, and deviations.
• Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance on equipment.
• Report and troubleshoot equipment issues promptly.
• Ensure proper disposal of chemical waste according to regulations.

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical background preferred).
• Basic understanding of chemical processes and safety standards.
• Ability to operate chemical processing equipment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
