Expert Power Boiler Process

Position Purpose

Responsible for leading and supporting all process-related activities during the commissioning, start-up, testing, and stabilization of the power boiler system. The role ensures safe, reliable, and efficient boiler operation while achieving design performance and supporting the transition to commercial operation.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead process commissioning, start-up, and performance testing activities for the power boiler system.
* Verify system readiness and ensure operating parameters meet design specifications.
* Monitor and optimize combustion efficiency, steam generation, and fuel utilization.
* Analyze operational data and implement corrective actions to improve performance and reliability.
* Support performance guarantee tests and reliability runs.
* Troubleshoot process issues and conduct root cause analysis for operational deviations.
* Develop operating procedures and provide technical guidance and training to operations personnel.
* Coordinate closely with operations, maintenance, engineering, OEM representatives, and EPC contractors.
* Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards throughout the commissioning phase.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related discipline.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in power boiler operations, utilities, or process engineering.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in commissioning or start-up of large industrial boilers or power generation facilities.
* Strong knowledge of boiler combustion, steam generation, DCS control systems, and performance testing.
* Experience in pulp & paper, power generation, or large industrial utility plants is preferred.
