Expert Mechanical Project

Position Summary

The Expert Project Mechanical is responsible for leading mechanical engineering activities for the paper project, ensuring the successful design, installation, commissioning, and reliability of mechanical systems in line with project timelines, safety standards, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
    •    Lead mechanical engineering scope for the paper project (pulp & paper machinery, utilities, and supporting systems)
    •    Review and approve mechanical design, specifications, and vendor deliverables
    •    Provide technical guidance during installation, testing, and commissioning phases
    •    Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
    •    Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during project execution
    •    Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and internal teams
    •    Support project scheduling, cost control, and risk management
    •    Ensure readiness for smooth handover to operations

Requirements
    •    Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
    •    Minimum 10–15 years of experience in pulp & paper or heavy industrial projects
    •    Strong expertise in paper machine systems, rotating equipment, and utilities
    •    Proven experience in project execution and commissioning
    •    Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
