Expert Electrical Project Engineer

Overview

Responsible for planning, executing, and supervising electrical engineering projects to support plant expansion, upgrades, and reliability improvement at OKI Mill. Ensures safe, compliant, and cost-effective implementation of industrial electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
    •    Lead electrical design and execution for MV/LV systems, substations, MCC, VFD, and power distribution.
    •    Prepare technical specifications and review contractor drawings.
    •    Coordinate with cross-functional teams during installation and commissioning.
    •    Ensure compliance with HSE standards and electrical regulations (IEC/PUIL/SPLN).
    •    Support FAT, SAT, energization, and troubleshooting activities.
    •    Monitor project schedule, cost, and quality.

Requirements
    •    Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
    •    5–8 years experience in industrial projects (pulp & paper / power plant preferred).
    •    Strong knowledge of power systems, protection, transformers, MCC, and DCS/PLC integration.
    •    Familiar with ETAP or similar software is an advantage.
    •    Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
